Morgan City Baby Photographer – Wild Thing
Posted on August 17, 2009
What is the fun of having a girl if you can’t dress her up and take pictures? I bought this cute little black tutu a few weeks ago and I’ve been wanting to take some pictures of Emelyn in it. I also have a new faux fur rug and a few other props that I’ve wanted to try out, so when I had a Sunday afternoon with not much to do, this is what happens!
And in case anyone is wondering, all of this is available for your own little one to use during photo shoots. So if you love the super-girly look of these, let me know when you book your session and we can incorporate a similar look! In addition to this, I have several patterned diaper covers, knit hats, tutus, and leg warmers that we can mix and match!
A little Cheerio bribery never hurt!
And I think this is my absolute favorite … if I didn’t already have a few large prints of Emelyn on my wall (and only one of Hayden – I have to take some new pictures of him) – I would definitely get this one BIG!

Gorgeous New Gallery Mounts!
Posted on August 12, 2009
You will all want one of these, I promise … I know that I now want several of them to put all over my house!
Gallery Mounts are a modern way to display portraits as finished art pieces for your wall without having to frame or mat your photos. Each photo is mounted on wood and sealed with a long-lasting laminate. The pieces feature a beveled edge that can be finished in either black or white; they come ready to hang! Gallery mounts are available in any size and are particularly great for storyboards! Check out the gorgeous piece I received today featuring Jonathan’s newborn photos!
This particular piece is 12×24:
Finished black edges (it looks white because of the light reflection)
Ready to hang, finished back!
