Here is yet another family that I’ve had the privilege of watching them grow and I’m really looking forward to seeing their little trio expand next year! I was so excited to see Miss Emmarie and she didn’t disappoint. She was a beautiful little newborn and she’s a gorgeous 5 month old. Can’t wait to see her again soon! She is clearly adored by her mommy and daddy!

This past weekend was round 1 of my holiday mini-sessions and I was reminded of one of the best things about my job – photographing the same families year after year, getting to know them and watching them grow and change over time. This first family was one of those. Not only is it great to get to know them, but I think we all felt more comfortable which inevitably leads to relaxed portraits. And the location was just perfect, it looks like we actually have fall here

I know Paula’s been anxious to see her bridals, which were taken in Houma at St. Martin’s Law Firm and with good reason … they are gorgeous It was a perfect day, clouds covering the sky and acting like a big softbox, allowing us to take photos in just about any location that we chose. I love days like this because this location has so much to offer and its a lot of fun when you don’t have to worry about the sun or dappled, uneven lighting
