Wedding Catch Up
Posted on December 23, 2009
I wanted to take a minute to post some sneak peeks for my patient brides from the last month
I’ve shot 3 weddings in that time but also got slammed with holiday sessions, so I haven’t been able to get to the weddings just yet. I know how it feels to patiently wait for photos, so I thought I’d post a few quick edits of a some that jumped out at me from each wedding. I hope you girls enjoy and I promise I’ll get your finished galleries up as soon as I can!
I was asked to take tons of photos of the cake, can you see why? So beautiful!
Our mutual friend, Dana, made her wedding cake. It was beautiful AND delicious with a pecan praline filling, yum!
I love this shot. Remember when I posted a while ago about the times for taking photos? Well, Jennifer and Daniel read that and decided to see each other before the ceremony. Jennifer had her dad stand with her so he essentially gave her away before the ceremony. This is Daniel walking up to her, she hadn’t seen him yet. I love the expression on his face and when they finally saw each other, it was very emotional and touching. One of my favorite wedding moments, by far
Seeing each other before also gave us plenty of relaxed time to take some photos of them together, which isn’t something I always get to do or have a lot of time for once the event begins.
AWESOME groom’s cake!

Egan was definitely one of the funniest, most expressive 3 year old I’ve photographed. He had me cracking up the whole session! He’s the little boy of some old college friends and its always fun to reconnect with them.
12-0 Who dat!
And of course, we had to let him play in the fountains!

Andre’ has been so very patient with me through all of these holiday sessions, but I think her Senior pictures will be worth the wait. We met a couple of weeks ago for a session that seemed doomed from the start – besides me thinking she was going to be a boy (and I was very wrong on that part, she’s definitely a girl LOL) – she got delayed on her way to the session and once she arrived, it started to drizzle. Knowing how busy my schedule has been, I persuaded her to go on with the session and I really am glad we did. It turned out to be a really fun, energetic and awesome session that I think Andre’ will be very happy with! Congrats on your upcoming graduation Andre’ and thanks for your patience!
I’m going to apologize ahead of time for this post, I’m having a hard time choosing favorites!
