Jenny and Dave – Engaged! {Baton Rouge Wedding Photographer}

Posted on March 31, 2010

I drove over to downtown Baton Rouge to  meet with Jenny and Dave for their engagement session.  It wasn’t a very nice day and I was hoping the weather would hold off for us!  Grey skies and a cold wind didn’t stop us, though!  Dave proposed to Jenny on the riverfront, so it was the perfect place for their session.  I just loved their interaction throughout the afternoon and I had such a great time walking around with them, just chatting.  I hope you guys enjoy the photos and I’ll see you in a few weeks for the wedding!

Feel free to leave me some love in the comments below!

Senior Memory Books {Product Spotlight}

Posted on March 29, 2010

I love taking Senior portraits, its probably my favorite things about my job right now.  I really put a lot of effort into my Senior sessions and I especially love when I’m free to be creative about locations and just the sessions in general.  Typically, this love results in my clients loving so many of their images and who wants to just shut them away in a photo album or box?  Yes, you’ll pick a handful for wallets and a few for your wall, but why not have a really fun, lasting memento of your Senior year?  Something you can show around to your friends and display in your home?

Senior memory books are a great way to get many of your favorite images in a beautiful, hard bound designer book.  Each book is custom designed using your favorite 20 photos and features a photographic cover and beautiful lay-flat pages.  Ask your Senior reps to see theirs, each of them has their own!  Here are two samples of Senior memory books.  The first is a more classic, formal design while the second is a more contemporary design that has room for your friends to write notes, yearbook-style!

8×8 Memory Book with 20 pages – $250

Amanda’s Nottoway Bridals {Baton Rouge Wedding Photographer}

Posted on March 27, 2010

I have been sitting on these for MONTHS and could not wait to share them.  I literally had twice as many to edit for her as I usually do because the setting was just so beautiful and there were so many amazing locations to use.  It didn’t help that Amanda was a stunning bride and up for anything!  She also brought along a couple of props to use – besides her bouquet, she had a feathered headpiece and a white umbrella.  Amanda and Kenny were married at Nottoway Plantation yesterday, so now, here are her bridal portraits!
