After photographing Ms. Emmarie the last year, I was really excited to meet her new baby sister, Kadence. Both of them are so beautiful and Emmarie adores her little sister! I have really enjoyed working with and photographing this family through the last few years – you guys have gorgeous girls, thanks for coming by!

I really had a great time during this bridal session because we pretty much had the run of the plantation. Caitlyn and Eric were married at Madewood Plantation in Napoleonville, so we were able to use it for her bridal portraits. Being able to take some portraits inside was a lot of fun and very different from what I normally do! The grounds of Madewood are gorgeous and made the perfect backdrop for Caitlyn’s classic look, she made such a beautiful bride!

You may have noticed the beautiful baby girl with the bright pink hat on at the top of my website … well, here is her equally beautiful and perfect cousin, Robbie. At first, I thought Robbie’s session would be full of wide awake shots – she certainly didn’t look like she was going to sleep for me. But after her tummy was full and she was tightly swaddled, she drifted off in just a few minutes, giving us plenty of time to get some of the sweet, sleepy shots that I love! Isn’t this the most gorgeous family? Big sister is so proud and helpful – as I was walking out of the door, she was rocking her baby sister back to sleep! I’m so glad we were able to get this session in before dad went back offshore!
