It never ceases to amaze me how a wedding day can start off looking like its going to be horrible weather – black skies, thundering, drizzling – and by the time the wedding starts, its a beautiful day without rain. That’s how Jenny and Dave’s day started out – it certainly didn’t look good! We were concerned about wet grounds and lots of rain, but the weather held out for us! It was a beautiful ceremony in an absolutely breathtaking church, St. Anne in Napoleonville followed by a rocking reception at Rose’s Catering. Everyone had a great time!

This is my 3rd time photographing little Jonathan and each time he gets cuter and cuter … he’s had those gorgeous big brown eyes since birth and I just love his new dark curls! He was a really happy guy for the studio shots but once we got outside, he was done with the smiles. And his cake smash? Well, there wasn’t much smashing going on, he picked a little at it and as unbelievable as it seems, I don’t think he even liked the taste! When dad tried to get some in his mouth, he would gag on it! He did great, though, and as always, I love being around his parents – such a nice, beautiful family!

I will be going out of town from Saturday, June 12 – Saturday, June 19. I will still be available by cell and email, but will not be booking any sessions during this time.
