Brady – 8 Days {Thibodaux Newborn Photographer}
Posted on July 25, 2010
I truly love photographing newborns, despite how challenging it can sometimes be. Strangely enough, I feel more confident with clients’ newborns than I ever did with my own. Somehow, I can usually manage to soothe a baby into a sound sleep so that I can position them however I want … how come I was never able to keep my own kids that sleepy and soothed?
Little Brady was sleeping pretty soundly, despite the fact that I was an hour late to his session … the first time I ever get a flat tire on the highway and it has to be on the way to a newborn session, when time is of the essence. Luckily, after Brady emptied out every bit of formula that he had eaten in a few days (giving us all quite a laugh), he was quite content to go back to sleep. He loved having his hands by his face and had the sweetest little mouth and hair. Such a beautiful baby boy and I’m so thankful to have photographed him!
Look at his fine, blond lashes!

ddddddddThis is always one of my favorite ages to photograph … babies are just sitting up and are usually very excited about showing off their new skill plus, they can’t move away from you yet! When Hayden’s mommy contacted me to do his 6 month session, I was anxious to meet him. I photographed his mommy and daddy’s wedding last year, so I couldn’t wait to see what he looked like! I think he’s the perfect combination of his mommy and daddy!
