Emelyn’s Sweet on You {Morgan City Child Photographer}

I took my kids into the studio today because I wanted to get some sample “Sweet on You” photos to help promote my mini-sessions coming up in a few weeks. Although they are “Valentine” mini-sessions, they don’t necessarily have to look like themed photos. I also wanted to show the variety you could get within a 15 minute session and showcase some of the props and accessories I have to go along with the sessions.
This is my daughter, Emelyn, who turned 2 back in October. She was a fairly cooperative subject today, as long as she had a little pile of candy hearts near her at all times 
Within the 15 minutes that I took taking these photos, I got a ton of them that I love and will probably go a little overboard with the sharing All of the hats, headbands, skirts and accessories will be available during my Sweet on You mini-sessions, along with tons of other things. I tried to get my 5 year old to take some as well, so I could get some boy shots to show you guys, but he refused to wear the precious pink collared shirt I bought him … despite me telling him numerous times that “real men wear pink.” Even his Grammy told him that she would like nothing more than to see him in the pink shirt, to which he replied “Well, sorry for you!”

And this one was as a comparison … when I pulled out the brown hat and had her sitting on the fur rug, I decided to try and remake this photo, which is a favorite of clients when they come into the studio. This was my very chunky little girl when she was 6 months old and 23 pounds!
And this is her today, I would guess she is about 28-30 pounds and there is hardly an ounce of fat on her:

Ms Camryn was such a little sweetheart, so small and precious. She didn’t want to have much to do with sleeping or even getting her photo taken, so we had to act fast! I just love her big dark eyes, so intense!
Big brother was also along for the session and we snapped a few of him while Camryn was being fed … he is so proud of his little sister!
This photo was requested by mom and I just love how they are both looking and smiling, so sweet!
