Austin – 2011 Senior {Morgan City Senior Photographer}

Austin’s mom and I met up before his session to discuss locations and she had a pretty clear vision for the photos. Austin will be attending Mississippi State next year and wanted to take photos in his cowboy boots, so she was thinking an old rustic barn would be great. They also wanted photos in his jersey and with his gun. I knew the Garber plantation would be perfect and was excited when she told me Austin was a friend of the family and could get permission. I knew the stables and old barn were perfect for what Austin wanted and that they also had some areas we could use for his camo and shotgun photos. It turned out to be absolutely perfect and we had a great time during the shoot. We even got a shot of Austin with his little brother.

I had to snap this shot quickly before the wood bees attacked me …
And regular bees almost attacked us both for this one, so it was quick as well!

Avery – 4 days old {Morgan City Newborn Photographer}

All weekend, while snuggling my newborn niece, Avery, she kept whispering that I really needed to get her newborn photos edited before she learns to walk. She’s so sweet and absolutely perfect, that I had to listen to her and got them done right away 
And since today is her 3 week birthday, its the perfect day to post them!
I think she’s going to be a super happy baby … she smiled for me several times during the session and continues to smile in her sleep and even while awake now. She even smiled at her big brother earlier today when he was holding her!
100% perfection and I love her so much already!

For the 4th year in a row, I’ve had the privilege of photographing Central Catholic’s Annual Gala. Its always a great time and I enjoy seeing so many familiar faces and meeting some new ones!
