Last fall, I shot the wedding of Laura and Josh and that’s when I met, Sarah, who is Laura’s sister. She and her mom chose a beautiful and unique location for her session, the house of a family friend who had a very pretty yard which was right on the bayou. Sarah has a great sense of style and had some great accessories. She loves to read, so I was excited that she brought along some books to incorporate. Congrats on your upcoming graduation Sarah!
Michele – Bridal Portraits {New Orleans Wedding Photographer}

FINALLY I got a bride who requested her bridals be taken at Longue Vu Gardens in Old Metairie. I’ve been wanting to photograph a bride here since I started doing weddings; it was where my bridals were taken and its so beautiful there and has so many options! Michele and I were in awe of how there were new and more beautiful locations everywhere we looked, it just went on and on! Its a perfect location for bridal portraits – very clean, elegant and manicured.
These were taken just a couple of weeks before her wedding and we had to fit them in on a tight schedule. The morning of the session, the forecast was not looking good, so we pushed it up a few hours to try and beat the bad weather headed our way. Because of this, both of my kids had to come along with me, which wasn’t a problem because Michele’s mom had graciously volunteered to help look after them while I worked. They had a blast exploring the gardens and despite some pretty strong winds, we were able to get some beautiful photos of Michele!

Newborns are ALWAYS fun to photograph but what makes it even better is when its the newborn of a past client, its even THAT much better. To see a family grow before my eyes and watch them develop from a young engaged couple to a happy family is amazing. With Jen and Joe, it goes back even farther because I went to high school with Jen. I was so excited to meet little Joseph and he was the perfect model for our session. He slept the.whole.time … not a peep from him. I never saw his eyes once!
