Danielle’s Bridal Portraits {Houmas House Wedding Photographer}
Posted on December 7, 2011
Houmas House is one of my favorite venues for weddings and bridal portraits, there are just so many beautiful little nooks and crannies, gardens, fountains and the house is gorgeous. Danielle was married there last weekend so I can now share her bridals, which were taken just a couple of weeks ago. Its was lots of fun working with her, her mom and her aunt! Congrats to Danielle and John, the wedding was gorgeous and I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!
This is the photo she choose to print for the reception … is was beautiful framed as a 16×20
Holly’s Bridals {Morgan City Wedding Photographer}

When I walked into the room where Holly had gotten dressed at The Dansereau House in Thibodaux, I think my jaw literally dropped. Holly was standing there in one of the most stunning dresses I’ve seen and she looked gorgeous. I was so excited when I saw the full tulle skirt and the ideas just started flowing!
Before a bridal session, especially if I’ve met the bride before and worked with her on engagements, I try to guess what type of dress she’ll choose and start to gather some ideas in my head. I’ve been wanting to do a few full dress poses for a while, but I figured Holly would be more of a “fit and flare” type of girl and boy, I’m so glad I was wrong! Holly is most definitely a PRINCESS gown type of girl and it fit her perfectly! It was so much fun working with both Holly and the dress
Holly and Philip were married last night in Morgan City – congrats you guys!
