Tyler – Day 12 {New Orleans Newborn Photographer}

Tyler was such a sweet little boy but so very stubborn. He had me laughing because he evaded every single trick I have for getting newborns to sleep. He just didn’t want to close those big eyes! Thankfully, he was pretty content to just lay there and stare without too much fussing and between his mom and I, we were able to get him to sleep for short bits of time but if we tried to move him at all, he was wide awake again. After a few hours, we eventually got everything we needed and he was STILL wide awake when I left! Here are a few of my favorites from his session:
This was a MUST HAVE shot for his mama. She loves turtles and requested that I bring this along. Tyler’s nursery was supposed to be turtle-themed, but when they couldn’t find bedding they settled for gators 
Julia – 5 Days {New Orleans Newborn Photographer}

My hands were itching to get a hold of baby Julia and when I heard she was coming last Monday, I was thrilled! I had ordered lots of new headbands, gotten some new blankets and even ordered a new bean bag. The morning of the session, my headbands hadn’t come in yet and I couldn’t get the beans into my bean bag (which I had ordered, not knowing it came unfilled!) But it all worked out perfectly anyway – Julia is an absolute doll, so many little chunky rolls and her mommy already had some amazing accessories for her! Almost everything we used in the session belongs to Julia! Julia’s aunt is one of my oldest friends from high school, Nathan and Nicholas’ mommy and I’ve known Julia’s mommy since she was little. Courtney, thank you for sharing Julia with me for a little while, I hope you enjoy the pictures!
Ethan – 4 Days {Patterson Newborn Photographer}

Sweet little Ethan reminds me a bit of Hayden when he was a baby … he has long thin legs and is just so darn cute! He was so sweet and good for our session, I don’t think I saw his eyes open at all except for a little peek here and there. The guitar was a gift from his grandfather, who gives one to all the grandbabies. You can’t really tell in the photo, but its a child-sized guitar, so cute!
