Elise – 6 Days Old {New Orleans Newborn Photographer}

Such a sweet baby, I was so excited to meet Elise. I’ve known her mom since we were in 8th grade and I photographed her wedding last year. Its always thrilling to meet a friend’s new baby and know that I’ll be there to watch her grow and change. Tara has 2 older children and though I didn’t photograph them as babies (I wasn’t into photography back then, I was still in college), I remember them as newborns and feel honored that I got to see Ms. Elise as a newborn as well.
She woke up towards the end but we still had to get a shot of her wearing this head piece, its the same one her mommy wore when she got married!

When Brooke had me take some family photos for Christmas, I was excited to see she was pregnant and even more so when she said she wanted me to photograph the new baby. Her other two children, Ava and Balor are so precious and I always love to see them. I couldn’t wait to meet Ms. Reese! Their house was the absolute perfect place for photographs … every house should have an unfinished upstairs with gorgeous natural light and nice neutral colors on the walls 
Though I’m sure the stress of the construction combined with 2 small children and a newborn is a little much, it worked out well this day!

And Reese was absolutely perfect, probably the sleepiest most well-behaved newborn I’ve had to date. She didn’t open her eyes once!
My sister made this little baby tutu when she did some photos for a friend of hers, I love how angelic she looks

Jansen – 9 Days Old {Houma Newborn Photographer}

I have known Jansen’s mommy since she was born (even though I was only 3). Our families have been friends forever, since our moms were in high school. I was so excited when I found out Ashley was pregnant and its so amazing to see her with Jansen, she’s so in love with him. He is such a cutie and I loved snuggling him. He did great for our session. It was great seeing you Ashley, don’t be a stranger!
