All this rain and sloppiness caused us to reschedule from our original day and thought there was some rumbling thunder during our session at Laurel Valley, the rain held out and we were able to have a great session with Hayes and his family.  His mom told me he was an active 4 year old that liked cars and superheroes so I thought he’d enjoy this little tent scene.  I built the tent using some Pinterest instructions just for this session and love how it turned out.  I’ll probably make a few different covers for it so I can use it for different clients.  I also love how their family photos came out.  It was important to Hayes’ mom that they got some sweet photos of him with his parents since in a few months, he’ll have a baby brother.  They wanted to document their special relationship before he has to share them

I also love how his mom made an effort to dress him in a way that reflected the style of my work.  Not only do the outfits fit right into how I shoot and process my photos, but I was flattered that she recognized my style and wanted to be sure his outfits reflected that.  I had a great time with Hayes, he was a lot of fun and had a precious personality!
